MusicPlacements is not just a website, it is a service, a relationship, and a tool. Once you have been approved and become an active member, we will review your catalog of tracks for free. Approved tracks are eligible to be submitted through our network of placement opportunities. We will play your tracks for A&Rs at major labels in our A&R sessions. This is not a one-time event. If a new A&R is added to our network, we play them our entire back catalog. This means your track will be shopped through our existing network and any NEW members.
In addition to our A&R sessions, all approved tracks are submitted for any major licensing opportunities or projects that MusicPlacements is working on. This includes major movie studios, video game companies, ringtone distributors, T.V., commercials, and other licensing opportunities. If your track fits what our customer is looking for we will present your track for the license. For example, video game companies will often pay up to $5,000 for the license to a single track. Tell me more about the A&R Sessions: Each week MusicPlacements puts together several session CDs of the hottest content we find. We don't use email blasts or track dumps. MusicPlacements philosophy is the only way to get heard is to actually present material in person. We have the network and relationships to do this for you! We are located in New York City and each week we attend studio sessions and meetings at the offices of major labels and music publishers. Our network is always looking for the hottest new talent for commercial albums, mobile media, video games, T.V., and more. We present our compilation session CD and Featured Producers to some of the top A&Rs in the industry. No other company offers the direct access and feedback that MusicPlacements can offer.
