Step 1: Audition for Membership


  • Fill out the registration form with your information
  • Upload up to 3 of your best tracks for us to review

Your audition tracks will be reviewed and you will receive a response within 5 business days if you are approved for membership. You will be joining an elite group of producers that are closely watched by industry A&Rs.

Step 2: Manage Your Membership


  • If you are accepted you will receive an email with a link to pay the one-time $10 Membership fee. This will activate your account.
  • As an active member, you can upload tracks for us to review for free! We listen to your catalog of tracks* and approve the potential placements. If we think a track is a potential placement, we will approve it and it becomes eligible to be played at our weekly A&R sessions. You decide from the list of tracks we approved which ones we play for the A&Rs!


    • We guarantee at least 5 A&Rs will hear your tracks within 7 business days! The fee for having a track played at the A&R sessions is $30.



What is a Listening Session?


Each week MusicPlacements holds listening sessions with each label in our network. We take the potential placements and present them at these listening sessions to determine if they can be used for any open projects the labels are working on.

Membership Includes:


  • All members tracks are reviewed for potential placements for FREE.

In addition, MusicPlacements will walk you through the placement process. We help you:

  • Negotiate an advance

    We help you negotiate payment for your Masters. This is usually between $2500 to $5000

  • Submit your invoice for payment

  • Make sure you are properly credited on the album


  • Present your track(s) to publishing companies

    We present your placements to major publishing companies for a publishing deal

  • Submit your track(s) for Ring tone and Streaming Music distribution


  • Help register you and your music with ASCAP


  • Access to our "Who is Looking List"

    All members have access to the Who is Looking List published monthly. It details which labels and artists have open budgets and are looking for music.

  • Increase Your Web Presence

    You are free to link your personal webpage or MySpace from your profile and leverage off our traffic (over 20,000 monthly hits)!
